Spice Up Your Social Life With Garden Furniture

By: Samivsoft

It is no longer sofas, tables, cabinets and 3 piece suites that hold our interest when it comes to furniture talk. With an increasingly stunning choice of garden furniture on sale, it seems the garden is the place to be. This is not surprising if an Englishman"s home is his castle. It makes perfect sense that his garden is a precious slice of land that is a part of it. For most people, the garden creates a huge impact on everyday life and how we use our gardens is so individual it makes all the difference.
This is why so many of us are now taking a closer look at garden furniture and how we can transform our patch. Not surprisingly, it is no longer dragging out the old rusty sun loungers with the torn, worn cushions that have lain around in the shed for years. Absolutely not! It is about making a statement, whether bold and beautiful, bright and cheerful or simply subtle and elegant.
A simple bench or companion set with shared table could be ideal for just the two of you to take a rest from all that planting and weeding. Brewing a pot of tea and bringing out jam scones for two completes the scene.
For those family lunches, the classic pub style picnic table and bench set is just perfect. Pop a large umbrella sunshade into the middle and you won"t burn whilst eating. Do not forget a sturdy umbrella base to avoid doing a Mary Poppins float-away when it gets a bit windy.
Folding table and chairs for 4 or 6 people always goes down well when it comes to standard garden furniture and the great thing with these classics is that they can be folded and tucked away for the colder months. For those delightful al fresco dinners, why not get recliner chairs? After all that good food outdoors in the appetite building fresh air, you might just need to recline a little. You could be forgiven for falling asleep too with a set of padded, comfy cushions to help you.
If it is pure sophistication you are looking for, then some of the latest styles are in a basket wicker weave in subtle shades to complement the outdoors. Complete with cushions, they are so elegant you will feel you really are in a sitting room. This type of outdoor living furniture is perfect for glamorous entertaining.
